We are looking for experienced Automation/EiT Engineers to participate in offshore and onshore-related EPC/FC projects within O&G and Maritime sector.
Tasks and responsibility:
Participate in various projects and perform as Technical PM in different projects phases. Responsibility for different task, i.e.:
- System design/ engineering of application software for process, safety systems for offshore installations and ships
- Programming and system design, design of safety applications and control systems
- Detailed engineering /studies in field instrumentation, fire & gas, Telecom and SAS
- Configuration of PLS/HMI
- Perform as-built
- Estimation and evaluation of the disciplines' scope of work
- Prepare technical documentation for assignments / purchases,
- Verification and follow-up of purchasing packages
- Follow-up of equipment suppliers and participation in FAT
- Participate in testing onshore / offshore
Qualifications:
- Higher education in Automation / Electrical / Cybernetics is preferred, but Technical vocational school and vocational certificate combined with long relevant experience will also be relevant.
- Experience within the following areas is desired:
- Experience from offshore/onshore-related EPC/FC projects in oil and gas, and general process understanding.
- Experience from feasibility studies, concept and FEED studies, as well as project implementation, and commisioning
- Experience with ABB and/or Siemens' SAS systems
- Experience from drawing work in Microstation, AutoCad, Sigraph etc.
- Experience with technical tools such as ProCoSys, STID, PIMS, SAP
- Good knowledge of relevant standards, technical requirements, specifications and governing documentation within the automation and/or instrument field.
- Basic offshore safety course and health certificate
Language:
- Good English skills is required, preferable also Norwegian
Workplace: Bergen, but Trondheim, Stavanger and Oslo might be options.
