NECON are now looking for a qualified Technical Safety Engineer, with relevant experience from the oil & gas sector.
Job description:
- Planning and execution of technical safety tasks in engineering, studies, and project execution, according to NORSOK standards and company requirements
- Design specification and verification related to safety systems (C&E, F&G, ESD Hierarchy, safety layout, fire protection)
- Reliability and functionality assessment
- Perform risk and event analysis (HAZID/HAZOP, FMECA)
- Offshore surveying
- Installation and commissioning support
Formal qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree
- Good Norwegian and English skills, both oral and written
Provide technical competence within one or more of the following:
- F&G
- ESD
- Process safety
- Human-machine interface
Experience within one or more of the following subjects:
- Studies and project execution within drilling facilities both on fixed and floating installations (MODU)
- Other relevant disciplines such as drilling, process, subsea or automation
- Knowledge of Quality and Risk Management
- Norwegian rules and regulations (PSA, NMD, DNV, NORSOK)
- International standards like IEC and ISO
Workplace: Bergen or Stavanger
Start of assignment: 1. February 2021 /(or latest 1. April 2021)
Duration: 1 year, with possible extension
