NECON would like to thank all our customers and employees for the joint efforts to keep the wheels rolling throughout this special year.
Both NECON and many of our customers have faced many challenges in the past year related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only have there been challenges in implementing organizational measures to carry out established projects when the crisis hit. But many of the company's customers have also experienced a reduction in order intake.
NECON has trusted that the company's core values can still lead us in the right direction. We have therefore been further developing new business areas for full this year.
In recent years, NECON has successfully diversified our business sectors and project models to be less vulnerable to fluctuations in oil prices. This allows the company to maintain activity and a stable economy through the crisis.
In order to continuously take on ongoing challenges, improve ourselves as a company, and strengthen sustainability in our customer's projects, new-thinking has always been important for NECON. We continue to maintain a steady course in developing talent, projects, working with competence development, and delivery of civil engineers.
It will take some time before there the activity levels are back to normal. Still, we hope that society will gradually normalize in 2021 so that we can meet again under more normal circumstances.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours!
Arnvid Skogseth, CEO of NECON
