We believe that Daniel possesses a great mix of education, experience, industry knowledge, network, and, not least, strong core values. Langøen has had an exciting and diverse career in recent years, both in offshore and onshore roles. He is educated as a mechanical engineer, but his true passion lies in management, training, and employee development. He recruited dozens of individuals at Axess Group for a frame contract they won with Equinor. In the same company, he initiated and was responsible for the "Axess Academy," where he aimed to assist and support employees through training and further development. He spent five years there before being recruited by Capgemini Invent as a workforce & organization department management consultant.

– I am genuinely interested in developing people and helping them improve their skills. This is something I am genuinely passionate about," says Langøen.

The Austrheim native also highlights NECON's core values: Generosity, Engagement, Empowerment, and Innovation. These values are ones that Langøen easily identifies with himself.

– I felt that these values resonated with me deeply. For years, I have known NECON as a reputable and skilled company. I am greatly looking forward to contributing to the company's further development. Simply put, this job was too exciting to turn down," he concludes.
